There are a few reasons. The first is because we have many customers that live outside of the United States. When these folks order, they want the extra parts because it is more cost effective for them to order them with their mill. They also know that they can recieve them at that time, whereas the future maybe un certain. Second, the cleaning procedures of grain in other countries is not the same as it is in the US, so there are a lot more foreign media in the grain; i.e. small pebbles. Finally we have customers that like the insuruance of having extras on hand just in case.

The main difference is in our grinding burrs. On our larger mills the burrs are machined from a hardened alloy steel. Because of their size and design, machining gives them a very strong edge.
